Limited Partnership
Limited partnership is considered as a capital company under the Slovak law. Following this difference, the establishment of a limited partnership may be favourable by tax reasons in particular for Austrian, German or some other entrepreneurs that decide to conduct a manufacturing business or to provide certain kinds of services in Slovakia.
Shareholders: |
The shareholders of a limited partnership are the general partners and the limited partners (a 100 % foreign participation is possible). |

Registered Capital: |
The registered capital of a limited partnership must amount to at least SKK 10,000. The use of the registered capital within the conduction of business activities of the company is possible. It shall be sufficient when a confirmation related to the payment of the registered capital is issued by the authorised shareholder. |

Liability: |
General partners shall be responsible for the liabilities of the limited partnership without any limitation. Limited partners shall be liable to the same extent as shareholders of a limited liability company, i.e. only up to the amount of their unpaid participation in the registered capital of the company. |

Seat: |
The establishment of a registered seat is required.
